Day 01: Begin your adventure with an overnight bus journey from Delhi to Manali (1900m). Board the Himachal tourism's overnight Volvo buses at around 7:00 pm, arriving in Manali early the next morning.
Day 02: Immerse yourself in the charm of Manali. Upon arrival at 10 am, our guide will transfer you to the hotel. After lunch, indulge in local sightseeing and acclimatization walks. Explore the bustling Mall road in the evening. Overnight stay in a Manali hotel.
Day 03: Embark on a scenic drive from Manali to Shukto. Traverse the Rohtang Pass (3980m) and enter the Lahaul Valley. Witness the confluence of Chandra and Bhaga Rivers at Tandi and continue along the Chandra-Bhaga River to Udaipur. Head northeast, following the Miyar River to Urgus and Shukto, the roadhead. Overnight stay at a guest house.
Day 04: Trek from Shukto to Thanpattan, crossing the wooden pedestrian bridge and climbing to Khanjer, the last village in the Miyar Valley. Walk along the left bank, passing beautiful campsites at Doksa, and reach Tharpatan. Overnight camp.
Day 05: Trek to Zardong, experiencing a gradual change in gradient with vast, grassy campsites and abundant flowers. Head to the beautiful campsite at Zardung. Overnight camp.
Day 06: Trek to Phalpu, near the snout of the glacier. Cross streams and marvel at the surrounding peaks as you reach Kesar Yon Chhap and camp at Phalpu, close to the Miyar Glacier snout. Overnight camp.
Day 07: Trek to Camp 1 (4400m) on the glacier. Traverse the difficult moraine and snowfields, passing glacial lakes, before camping on the glacier surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Overnight camp.
Day 08: Trek to Camp 2 (4780m) at the Kang La Jot Base. Start early for a snow walk, climbing gently to reach the base of Kangla Jot. Camp on the glacier with stunning views of snowy mountains. Overnight camp.
Day 09: Cross Kang La (5450m) and descend to another base (4400m). Enjoy breathtaking views as you walk along the snow-covered glacier and descend to a small meadow at the junction of two valleys. Overnight camp.
Day 10: Trek to Bardan (3670m) and drive to Padum. Descend on rocks and scree, following the Tema River to enter the Zanskar Valley. Drive to Bardan Gompa and later to Padum, the district headquarters of Zanskar. Overnight lodge.
Day 11: Drive to Kargil through the scenic Zanskar Valley. Experience the beauty of Rangdum, Shafat Nala, and the green Suru Valley. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 12: Choose between driving towards Leh or Srinagar, both offering stunning landscapes. Overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 13: Enjoy a free day to relax and explore the town.
Day 14: Conclude your adventure with a flight to Delhi. Trip Ends!
