We only consider contributions that are rooted in real experiences or offer deep reflection on the natural and cultural world.

What We’re Looking For
- Theme: Essays must focus on Ladakh — travel reflections, cultural experiences, environmental essays, or nature-based narratives. We may also accept outstanding pieces related to high-altitude ecology, trekking, sustainability, and human connection with wilderness.
- Length: Minimum 1500 words (in English)
- Originality: Must be original, unpublished, and written by the author submitting it. We do not accept agency submissions or rewrites of existing content.
- Format: Submit your file as .docx, .txt, or .md only
- Images: Optional — only original photographs taken by the author (with full rights) will be accepted.
How We Select
Each essay is personally read and reviewed. We look for:
- Depth and honesty in your perspective
- Emotional and cultural resonance
- Authenticity — a sense that you have truly walked these landscapes or felt their stillness
If selected, your post will be featured with your name and bio. Anonymous publication is possible upon request.
Submission Policy: There is no submission or publication fee. We never accept paid links, sponsored posts, promotional collaborations, or any content written for marketing purposes. Only genuine, creative contributions that embody lived experience and insight are considered.
Response Time: Due to the high number of submissions, we only contact writers whose essays are selected for publication. Review time is typically 2–3 weeks. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
