Can one truly understand the laws of the universe?
🍀 A man, severely injured in an accident, was brought to the hospital in critical condition.
The doctor, who was also the owner of the hospital, began to treat him immediately in the ICU.
After a grueling 2-3 hour surgery, the doctor emerged and instructed his staff, “Ensure this man experiences no discomfort here. And do not charge him a single penny for his treatment or medication.”
The patient stayed in the hospital for about 15-20 days.
When he had recovered and was ready to be discharged, the doctor reviewed his final diagnosis.
A bill of approximately 550,000 rupees was prepared for the patient.
The doctor called the accountant and said, “Do not take any money from this patient. Bring him to my office.”
The patient was wheeled into the doctor’s office.
The doctor asked him, “Do you remember me?”
The patient replied, “I feel like we’ve met somewhere, but I can’t recall where…”
The doctor said, “Four years ago, at dusk, on the outskirts of a village, you repaired my car. Do you remember now?”
“Yes, Doctor, I remember well…”
“That day, I was traveling with my family, and our car broke down. All around us was just an expanse of forest, and my family was filled with anxiety and fear. We prayed to God for some help.
After a while, a miracle happened. You appeared on your bike, stopped, and asked about our problem. You opened the car’s hood, and within minutes, you had it running again. We were so relieved and could safely return home.
The mere thought of spending a night in that desolate forest filled us with despair, but it felt like God had sent you to us. You mentioned you ran a garage. Your help in that dire situation was invaluable.
Even so, I asked you, ‘How much do you want?’ To which you, with folded hands, replied:
‘My creed is… to help those in distress without asking for anything in return. God sees the reward for this work.’
Your words had a profound impact on my life. I thought, ‘If someone earning a modest living can uphold such high principles and values, shouldn’t we do the same?’ Since then, I have adhered to that creed. Even after four years, I have lacked nothing. In fact, I have gained more than before.
Today, this hospital is mine. You are my guest here. In keeping with your creed, I cannot take anything from you. This service is a grace from God.
Go home happily now. If you have any problems, do not hesitate to come to me.”
With these words, the doctor left his office.
The man, upon seeing the statue of God in the room, folded his hands and tears flowed naturally.
His heart was filled with immeasurable joy!
The actions we take return to us… with fervor.
Every sin and merit is accounted for accurately.
This is the law of the universe!
