About this Place:

Located less than 5 km from Leh Town, Choglamsar village offers a rustic and authentic experience, providing the best of both worlds for travelers. Experience the charm of our traditional ancestral house named Apaba House, a beautiful wood and mud house designed in local architecture. While our family resides on the ground floor with our three Tibetan breed dogs, the top floor features three private rooms for travelers, offering breathtaking views of the Stok Range through large glass windows.

The Space:

We ensure a constant supply of hot water with our solar water heater. Additionally, we can provide food in the family living area upon request. There are numerous activities to enjoy during your stay, such as local cooking classes, village walks, and witnessing mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets by the banks of the Indus River. Adjacent to our home, you'll find several Tibetan Refugee Camps where you can engage with Tibetan families, visit local Tibetan houses, listen to their stories, and even volunteer if you plan to stay for an extended period.
